It has been nearly ten years since police began their investigation into the grisly murder of 19-year-old Angie Dodge.
Dodge was found brutally raped and murdered in her bedroom on June 13, 1996. Police are still investigating the murder, because they believe one or more of her murderers are still on the loose.
Ten years is a long time, and within that time, some things have changed forever -- like Angie Dodge's mother.
"A day at a time. You get through it a day at a time. There's no time limit to grieving," said Carol Dodge, Angie's mother.
Some things remain the same, like the memory of a girl who had so much going for her.
"She was just really vibrant, always laughing, always a person who would give you love."
Or the color of the house where Angie was murdered. It's still there on I Street, and it's still mint green.
"All the time, driving past the house, the memories flick by of that day it happened. I can't talk about it. It's too much."
Ken Brown from the Idaho Falls Police was the original lead detective.
"You can never get total closure until it's all over, and this was a tragic, tragic thing," said Brown.
Although one man [Christopher Tapp] is behind bars for life, police believe there are more out there.
"In this particular case, we've got one piece of the pie in jail. We want the whole thing. We want it all."
They want it all so that everyone can rest.
"There's still people out there involved in my daughter's killing, and they're just as capable of killing your daughter or son."
Christopher Tapp is serving a life sentence for the death of Angie Dodge and is currently being held in the maximum security prison in Boise.
