In early December 2003, the Angie Dodge task force was disbanded. Although there was a great deal of fan fare when the force was assembled, nothing was announced when it disbanded.

We were in hopes that the Angie Dodge Special Task Force would be the answer to a lot of hopes and prayers. However, like so many times in the past, this turned out to not be the case. Instead of moving out of the Christopher Tapp window, they chose to go down the same dead end alley as always. It turned out that none of the stored DNA was tested and was not entered into the national databank for matching as Chief Livsey promised to have done. The only DNA tested was that of an informant that was in the cell with Tapp and lived in Idaho Falls at the time of  Angie's murder. The excuse used by the police was that he "knew things". He knew things only because he heard Tapp repeat them to him from his jail cell. Valuable resources and time was wasted. It begs the question, do the police truly want to solve this murder?  What are they covering up?  Who are they trying to protect? Why do the police refuse to let any real outside investigation take place?

The television program Inside Edition has showed an interest in running an investigative program on Angie's case. The authorities have refused to speak with any of their producers.  Again, what are they trying to hide by refusing help or to nationalize this horrible murder? Perhaps that is a question the public of Idaho Falls should be asking their police force. Why are they refusing to expose a murderer and his accomplices?

Angie deserves Justice, it is important to remember that she is not just a statistic, or that we have pictured a dead girl on the web site. Angie is much more than that. She is real in the hearts of those who love and miss her. She is a missing part of more lives than can be counted. It is important that those who took her away from us be made accountable for their actions so that no one else will have to suffer by their hands.
